The 2026 session of the United Nations Regional Forum on Sustainable Development (RFSD) for the UNECE region provides a strategic platform to accelerate progress on the 2030 Agenda through integrated and cross-sectoral approaches. The Sustainable Development Goals under in-depth review—SDGs 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), and 17 (Partnerships for the Goals)—are intrinsically interconnected, with agrifood systems serving as a critical nexus.

The Aquatic Blue Food Coalition will be participating in the side event, Local Solutions to Global Impact through Sustainable Food, Water, Energy and Ecosystems.
